A two Car Crash on Illinois Route 159 left one woman dead. The auto accident happened Tuesday afternoon. The Illinois Car Accident Lawyers learned the victim was identified as 60 year old Karen Mavers from Waterloo. Illinois investigators say 77 year old Jeanette Phillips was driving the second vehicle. She was not hurt in the car accident.

Illinois State Police investigated this Car Collision. Officers say Mavers's car was hit by Phillip's approaching vehicle that had merged into Mavers's lane. The collision forced Mavers to lose control of her vehicle. Thus, her car wound up off the road, went down an embankment and flipped. Phillips was ticketed for using a lane improperly in causing an accident.

Not surprisingly, passenger cars are the most frequent type of vehicle involved in deadly Auto Accidents. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in Illinois in 2009, passenger cars were involved in 593 deadly crashes. That accounted for 45.6% of all the deadly vehicle crashes in Illinois that year. Light trucks made up the second most fatal accidents. They were in 32.9% of them.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also looked at the ages of people involved in deadly vehicle collisions. In this week's deadly car crash on Illinois Route 159, the drivers were 60 and 77 years old. Data showed in 2009 in Illinois, people older than 74 were in 132 fatal crashes. People aged 55-64 were in 120 deadly auto accidents. Nationally, people older than 74 were in 3,706 fatal crashes while people aged 55-64 were in 4,211 deadly vehicle accidents. The age group with the most fatalities in 2009 was the 25-34 year old one. That age group had the most vehicle fatalities nationally and in Illinois.

Illinois Auto Accident Lawyers recommend if possible, people take specific actions if they find themselves in a car crash. Victims should collect and keep evidence in case certain entities ask for it in the future. Insurance companies and attorneys might ask for such evidence at a later date. Helpful evidence can be a variety of items like police reports, accident photos, witness statements, driving records and medical records.

A 16 year old boy faces first degree murder charges stemming from a Car Crash in Chicago on Sunday. 42-year old Marciea Adkins was killed in the auto accident.

The Chicago Tribune reports the teen was behind the wheel of a stolen SUV as police were chasing him when the car collision occurred. Adkins was on her way home from work as a Chicago 911 dispatcher when her vehicle was struck. Chicago police say the teen tried to flee the scene after the accident. He was arrested, however. In addition to first degree murder, the teen faces several other charges including burglary and driving under the influence.

Statistics show teen drivers are involved in a large percentage of deadly vehicle accidents. Add alcohol to the mix and you have an even deadlier combination. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found from 2004-2008, 9,644 drivers aged 16 or 17 years were involved in 9,494 deadly vehicle accidents. And of the 947 drivers with a positive BAC, 678 or 72% of these drivers had a BAC of equal to or more than 0.08 which is above the legal limit for drivers younger than 21.

An Illinois Auto Accident claims the life of a 15-year old Gurnee, Illinois girl. Taylor Mae Stinchcomb died as she was trying to keep her family dog, who was sick with cancer, from being put down.

Chicago media outlets report the teen put her dog in the family's minivan and drove away with another 15-year girl in the vehicle as well. This was done without her parents' knowledge and apparently, in an attempt to protect the dog from euthanasia. Reportedly, Taylor became too distraught to drive so the other 15-year old took the wheel, and Taylor moved to the passenger seat. Unfortunately, that teen lost control of the minivan which flipped and then hit a few trees and a utility pole. Both Stinchcomb and the dog she was trying to save died from their injuries. The other girl was hurt but not severely.

Obviously, both girls were too young to have a driver's license. Teens do, however, find themselves as victims of auto accidents usually when passengers. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that 12 children ages 10-15 died in 2009 in Illinois in vehicle accidents. Nationally, 728 children in that age group were killed in auto accidents.

A Chicago Southwest side community is mourning the death of an Illinois girl killed in a Hit and Run Vehicle Crash. 8-year old Mariela Crisotomo died after an SUV hit her while she was riding her bicycle in front of her house Tuesday. The SUV driver then took off after the auto accident.

Now, Chicago media outlets report Chicago Police are looking for the driver of a gray or silver SUV. Witnesses indicate the driver is a female. A Chicago Police official says Mariela ended up under a parked vehicle after she was struck by the SUV. The Cook County medical examiner's office says the child was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois for treatment, but she later died.

Unfortunately, bicycle accidents happen all too often and can be deadly. The website, www.bicyclinginfo.org, reports 630 people died in bicycle/motor vehicle accidents in 2009. That accounted for about two percent of the people who died or were hurt in vehicle accidents that year. And the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that kids are particularly in danger. In 2001, children who were 15 years old or younger made up 59% of bicycle - related injuries reported in emergency rooms in the United States.

A woman is recovering after a Car Accident in Robbins, Illinois. The auto collision happened just after midnight Monday near 156th and Kedzie Avenue.

Illinois State Police responded to the vehicle crash. Illinois investigators say the driver, a 21-year old man, had fallen asleep. His car, then, went off the street, hit a tree and struck part of high voltage equipment. While he was not hurt, his 18-year old passenger did suffer injuries. She was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital for treatment for her injuries.

Driving while tired can be a lethal combination for you and your passengers. The website, www.drivers.com, notes research by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that about 100,000 police-reported vehicle accidents each year involve drowsiness or fatigue as a big factor. And those auto collisions amount to about 1,500 deaths and 71,000 injuries.

A Motorcycle Accident in St. Clair County killed a Belleville, Illinois man. His motorcycle was involved in a Truck Crash Tuesday on St. Clair Avenue. 42-year old Alvin Williams was the man on the motorcycle.

According to Illinois State Police, a UPS truck was making a left turn as Williams was trying to get around the truck by riding on the road's left shoulder. While his motorcycle was apparently going very quickly, Williams hit the truck on its driver's side. Even though he was wearing a helmet, he died from his injuries.

While many people may consider motorcycles an enjoyable form of transportation, they are also a very dangerous form of transportation. Data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration shows the increased likelihood of being involved in a deadly motorcycle accident versus being in one in a passenger car. While passenger cars had an involvement rate in deadly crashes per 100,000 registered vehicles of 14.73 in 2008, the rate for motorcycles was 69.77. That's more than four times higher for motorcycles.

A Danville, Illinois man is dead after he was involved in an Auto Accident with a Semi Truck. The Semi Truck Crash happened Monday on United States Interstate 74 just west of Champaign.

As reported by The News-Gazette in the article, "Danville Man Died from Multiple Injuries in I-74 Crash," the Champaign County Coroner did an autopsy on Danville's Edward Hughes and concluded that he died from several injuries sustained in the Semi Truck/Car Accident. The coroner added that the 43-year old might have suffered some sort of medical issue at the time of the accident. Illinois State Police are still trying to figure out why Hughes drove his car across Interstate 74 into on-coming traffic which resulted in a collision with a semi truck. The tractor trailer's driver was taken to a local Illinois hospital, treated and released. No word if that driver suffered any Work Comp related injuries. Illinois authorities are still awaiting the results of toxicology tests performed on Hughes.

Unfortunately, large trucks are involved in dozens of deadly vehicle accidents every year in Illinois. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 2009 in Illinois, 90 large trucks were involved in fatal auto crashes. That accounted for 6.9% of all Illinois deadly vehicle crashes that year.

Illinois State Police were on the scene of a deadly Vehicle Accident in Chicago on United States Interstate 55. A Chicago man is now facing a DUI charge stemming from the fatal auto collision. The crash happened Thursday night and involved a pickup truck.

As reported by www.nbcchicago.com in the article, "Man Charged with DUI in I-55 Hit and Run," a 32-year old man was waiting for a tow truck on the shoulder of I-55. Illinois State Police say 40-year old Fernando Almaraz was driving a pickup truck and heading north when he hit the 32-year old and kept driving. Illinois authorities soon found Almaraz and arrested him. Cook County authorities say the suspect's blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit.

Unfortunately, Illinois is plagued by a high number of alcohol-related auto accidents. According to www.alcoholalert.com, in 2008, Illinois ranked 8th in the country for alcohol-related deaths in vehicle accidents.

Chicago police were on the scene of a head on Auto Collision on Chicago's Near West Side that left five people with injuries. A day-old baby was among the hurt. The vehicle crash happened at 2 a.m. near Illinois's United Center. No word if any the injuries are Work Comp related.

As reported by www.Chicagobreakingnews.com in the article, "5, Including Newborn, Hurt in Near West Side Crash", the accident involved two sport utility vehicles. Chicago police say a Toyota Highlander drove the wrong way on a one way street and hit a Chevy Avalanche. The driver of the Highlander is not from Illinois but rather is from Massachusetts. He apparently blames his vehicle's global satellite for making him drive in the wrong direction. He was cited for driving the wrong way.

Fortunately, this auto accident was not fatal. Increasingly, vehicle crashes in Cook County are not deadly which is a promising trend. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, from 2005-2009, the number of traffic fatalities in Cook County dropped each year.

An Illinois Car Accident involving a single vehicle took the life of a twenty-five year old San Jose woman. The woman was attended to by Illinois State Police.

At the time of the Illinois Car Crash, Illinois State Police say Shannon N. Hammel was driving east on U.S. 136. They believe she left the roadway and lost control of her vehicle in gravel when she over-corrected.

An Illinois truck crash has left investigators trying to piece together the cause of a twenty-seven year old father's erratic driving that claimed the life of himself, his two young sons and a family friend. Reports from a local Illinois police officer indicated that Michael Martin drove passed him in his pickup truck and appeared to be dazed. Martin then apparently slammed the truck into a culvert. Police are still investigating the cause of Martin's loss of control. Moultries County Sheriff, Jeff Thomas, reported that it appeared Martin may have been suffering from some type of medical conditions at the time of the truck accident.

According to the Northwest Herald's report titled "4 Killed, Including 3 Children, in Illinois Crash", the victims of the accident included Martin, his five-year-old son, Bryson Martin, his eight-year-old son, Braxton John Giorgi-Denton, and a friend of the family, eight-year-old Dakota Wayne Hoffman.

Preliminary autopsy results did not reveal any immediate cause for the truck crash. Additional toxicology testing is being performed, and Illinois authorities are hopeful they will shed some light on why Martin lost control of his truck.

At approximately 4:30, Peoria County Sheriff deputies responded to a fatal car accident near the intersection of Airport and Kickapoo Roads. 26-year-old Lena J. Mogged was pronounced dead at the scene by the Peoria County Coroner's office. Police believe Mogged was driving her 2004 Pontiac Grand Am southbound on Kickapoo Road when she lost control of the vehicle and veered to the east side of the road before sliding down an embankment. Police reported that Mogged's vehicle came to rest on the passenger side against several trees. The roof of the vehicle was collapsed. Traveling in the vehicle with Mogged was her 8 and 9-year-old sons. Medical personnel on the scene reported that both boys were conscious and were being transported by ambulance to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

Lillie L. Baptist, a 75 year-old resident of Kankakee was killed in a single car accident on Wednesday after the 1995 Dodge Caravan she was driving left the road on Illinois Route 17 near Lowe and Frontage roads. Kankakee County Coroner, Robert Gessner, pronounced Baptist dead at the scene at approximately 11:20 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The exact cause of the crash and death are still under investigation; however, preliminary reports showed that Baptist had slumped over the steering wheel prior to losing control of the vehicle.

Emily W. Myers, 21, and Alex E. Myers, 23, both from Arcola, Illinois, were injured when a truck ran the Ford Taurus being operated by Emily Myers off of Interstate 74 near Mansfield, Illinois, on Thursday night.

Both Emily and Alex had to be extracted by emergency personnel after their car hit a ditch embankment, flipping over twice, skidding across the eastbound interstate lanes and coming to rest in the eastbound lanes facing west. By the time the vehicle stopped, the driver's door was pinned against the guard rail. The Pair were both wearing seat-belts, and were taken to Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois, where they were treated and released.

According to the accident report, Illinois State Police (out of Pesotum), found that Emily Myers was driving in the right westbound lane, before she attempted to pass a semi-tractor trailer that was driving next to her on Interstate 74 at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday evening. As Myers attempted to pass the semi-truck, reportedly operated by Mark E. King, 44, of Rockford, Illinois, King moved into the left lane and caused Myers' car move off the Interstate to avoid impact.

King was ticketed for improper lane usage, state police reported.

Champaign police were forced to close the east and westbound lanes of Interstate 74 for about 10 to 15 minutes while a utility pole was put back in place by AmerenIP workers following a one-car accident that cut power to more than one hundred homes on Sunday morning. According to Champaign police, an eastbound car left Bloomington Road causing it to strike a utility pole and roll over twice. The impact forced Bloomington Road to close for several hours and cut off power to 117 residences and businesses for several hours.

The driver of the car, whom has not yet been identified, was apparently uninjured. While there was not mention of any tickets being issued, the AP reported that police did not believe the man was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He reportedly hit a patch of ice. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.

Richard A. Shatto, a 38-year-old Hoopeston man, was killed in a Vermillion County Illinois car accident at 12:11 a.m. Sunday on Illinois 9 just west of Rankin, Illinois. According to police, Shatto was driving a 1997 Chevy Lumina west on Illinois Highway 9 when his car left the road and hit a guardrail. The vehicle then corrined into a field and turned over. According to reports, Mr. Shatto was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. Although he was airlifted by helicopter to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 1:30 a.m. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The Champaign County Coroner's office has confirmed that Richard Shatto, 38, of Hoopeston, was the decedent driver in a one-car accident at 12:11 a.m. Sunday on Illinois Route 9 west of Rankin in Vermilion County. Shatto was pronounced dead just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Carle Foundation Hospital, after the 1997 Chevy Lumina he was driving westbound left the roadway, striking a guard rail and ejecting him while overturning in a field.

Following 20 minutes of deliberation, coroner's jury in Champaign County ruled that the cause of death of an Urbana woman, April R. Rahming, 23, was undetermined.

Ms. Rahming died on Oct. 25 after she fell out of the passenger's side of a truck driven by her then live-in boyfriend, Charles Laroe, 25, of Urbana, on the 1800 block of Willow View Road, Urbana. According to testimony, Laroe told Champaign County Sheriff's Investigators that the passenger door of his truck didn't shut properly and that he felt a bump in the road after Ms. Rahming was run over by one of the truck's rear tires.

When Laroe jumped out of the truck to attend to Ms. Rahming, he reportedly failed to put the truck into park, and it rolled another 50 to 60 feet into a ditch. Police investigators then reported that Laroe placed Ms. Rahming back in his truck and took her to the home of her parents. Laroe told police that he took her there because it was closer than the hospital and because her stepfather knew CPR. Ms. Rahming died at her parent's home.

According to Deputy Coroner Steven Skinner, autopsy findings showed Ms. Rahming suffered multiple skull fractures, swelling of her brain, multiple lacerations, rib dislocations and loss of blood.

The McLean County coroner reported that 31–year–old Timothy R. Applegate, of Stanford died January 10th after he rear–ended a stationary garbage truck. Reports indicated that Applegate crashed his car around 6:30 this morning. Preliminary investigation believes that he apparently sneezed right before the collision and was unable to stop in time. Applegate was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, in Peoria, Illinois, where he was pronounced dead just after 8 am.

Funeral services will be held Saturday for a Carbondale teenager who died in a single-vehicle accident in Central Illinois in mid-December.

Alana Ross, a 19-year-old Carbondale girl was killed in a singe care accident while traveling on Interstate 57 in Effingham County on December 16, 2008. Accordingly to police investigation, Ross lost control of her vehicle and crashed. An autopsy was performed by the Champaign County Coroner, Duane Northrup.

At that time of the accident, central Illinois had been hit with a series of winter storms, and ice was reported on the interstate. Following the accident, Ross was taken to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois, which is a Level 1 Trauma Center; however, she was pronounced dead upon arrival. While autopsy results have not been completed, Northrup said it appears Ross died from the “significant traumatic” injuries she suffered during the single car accident.

At approximately 3 am, January 17, 1009, a Central Illinois teen lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole. Autopsy report confirmed that 18-year-old Alexander Smith died from injuries sustained in the one-car accident. The accident occurred at County Road 1000 N near the intersection of County Road 1700 East. Preliminary investigation has lead the Sheriff's Department to believe that Smith lost control of his vehicle causing the same to collide with the utility pole.

Local media outlet, WCIA 3 News, spoke with Smith's parents, who were told the news of their son's untimely death while vacationing in Florida. They reportedly flew back to Central Illinois Saturday.

According to his parents, Alex was an only child. His father described him as "a kind-hearted young man who was loved by everyone he ever met". Alex was taking mechanic classes at Parkland Community College, and had recently moved to a Philo apartment complex.

While Marcus Schrenker continues to make national headlines for his D.B. Cooper impression, few media outlets are reporting his prior ties with the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office.

According to Court records, Schrenker and his now estranged wife previously filed suit in the Federal Court of the Southern District of Indiana against the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, the Hamilton County Prosecutor, Sonia Leerkamp, and the Town of Fishers, as well as an individual deputy prosecutor and Sheriff employees. In their FEDERAL LAWSUIT, as filed by Indianapolis Attorney, Jeffrey McQuary, Schrenker alleged that he was wrongfully detained, arrested, and physically and emotionally injured following an incident with a motorcycle.

According to the lawsuit, Hamilton County Sheriff Deputy, Donald Ball, wrongfully and forcefully arrested Schenker on allegations that he was illegally operating a motorcycle near his then McCordsville, Indiana, home. Along with these allegations, the lawsuit also referenced harassment by the Hamilton County Prosecutor and a Deputy Prosecutor in an attempt to avoid reporting the Sheriff's Deputy's actions. According to Court files, the case was dismissed in 2007.

State Police in Central Illinois responded to over 50 accidents on Illinois Interstates. Dangerous winter weather conditions were being blamed for the accidents that seemingly began around 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

A school bus from the Buckley, Loda, Paxton, Iroquis County School District ended up in a ditch, causing injury to the driver and at least one child. Police also reported a fatal accident on eastbound Interstate 74 near Tilton. According to reports, a 42 year old female lost control of her Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck and rolled over several times before coming to rest on its roof in the westbound lanes. The reports also identified at least two children in the vehicle, both of whom are believe to have survived. The children were transported to Provena United Samitaritan Hospital for medical treatment.

Harvey Welch, an attorney from Urbana, entered his appearance in Champaign County Circuit Court on behalf of Elizabeth Drewes, 53, of the 1000 block of Churchhill Downs Drive. Drewes remains in the Champaign County jail on a $5-million bond for aggravated DUI and reckless homicide charges stemming from a three vehicle collision on I-74 in December, 2008. Twenty-four-year-old, Brittany Babb was killed in the December crash and three others were injured. Welch is also representing Drewes in another DUI case involving a single car crash in September, 2008. In that case, Drewes was arrested after allegedly crashing her Cadillac Escalade on I-57 near Thomasboro. Reports from that arrest indicate that her blood-alcohol content was 0.31 percent during that incident. Judge Rich Klaus set Drewes' next court date on the more recent charges for February 25, 2009, before Judge Chase Leonhard.

Attorney Welch entered a plea of not guilty and requested a jury trial on behalf of Elizabeth Drewes. Attorney Welch himself made news last August when he was sued by a former client, Patrick Thompson, in Small Claims Court for an alleged legal malpractice claim. According to Court files, Welch was ordered to pay $3,000 back to Thompson, as well as cover the cost of court fees.

Thompson filed the small claims suit pro se (meaning he represented himself) alleging that Welch had committed legal malpractice during his criminal trial. Thompson argued that he had hired Welch to defend himself against charges of sexual abuse and home invasion in a criminal trial that took place in 2006. After Welch called only one witness, Thompson was found guilty. Dropping Welch, Thompson hired two new attorneys, Bob Kirchner and Ruth Wyman, who filed a post-trial motion to reverse the guilty verdict. In a rare courtroom decision, Judge Harry Clem found that Welch had provided “ineffective assistance of counsel” and granted Thompson a new criminal trial. This last May, with the help of new legal counsel (Kirchner and Wyman), a jury found Thompson not guilty of the criminal charges.

Records indicate that Harvey Welch works as a Public Defender in Ford County, but has an office at 401 W. Elm in Urbana, Illinois 61801-3231. According to the Illinois ARDC website, Welch has been in practice since October, 1980.

Illinois State Police and fire crews from the Springfield, Waggoner and Farmersville were assisting in the cleanup of portions of northbound Interstate 55 in central Illinois. The Interstate was closed after a tanker truck hauling corrosive chemicals overturned on its side just before 8 a.m. Tuesday morning near Waggoner.

According to fire crews, the truck spilled two different volatile and corrosive chemicals.

Police identified a Bloomington woman killed when her SUV rolled over on Interstate 74 near Tilton, Illinois on Tuesday morning as Angel McDonald. McDonald had recently moved to Bloomingtion from Bradington, Florida. According to reports, McDonald had four-year-old twins who were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
State Police and the Vermillion County Coroner's office speculated that the childrens' safety seats were a contributing factor in their survival, as the children were securely fastened. Preliminary investigations led State Police to believe that McDonald's vehicle rolled over several times before coming to rest. Portions of the Interstate were shut down while emergency personnel attended the scene.

Police say an early morning accident sent a 23-year old Cherry Valley woman, Regina Shawgo, to the hospital. Shawgo was driving East on Route 9 just after 2:00 a.m. when her vehicle was allegedly struck from behind by a car driven by 19-year-old Justin Donaho.

According to police reports, both cars lost control and Shawgo's vehicle overturned in a ditch. Shawgo was transported by life flight to O-S-F St. Francis Medical Center. Police believe alcohol was a factor and cited Donaho with driving under the influence. Donaho was treated at Graham Hospital in Canton, Illinois and released.

The Peoria County coroner is investigating the death of a Kewanne man involved in a single car accident in Stark County. 46 year-old Albert Bonner was sent to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center after sustaining head injuries during the accident. Bonner was pronounced dead by hospital staff on December 31st. The Coroner continues to investigate the cause; however, reports indicate that Bonner was not wearing his seat belt.

Illinois State Police near Pesotum, Champaign County, Illinois, confirmed a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 74 did involve at least one fatality. The accident reportedly took place near mile marker 213.

Illinois State Police closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 74 as a result of the one-vehicle accident. The crash was just one among many on I-74, and numerous city, county and rural roads.

29-year-old, Kara Holt, of Gibson City, Ford County, was killed in a car accident at the corner of Prospect Avenue and Healey Street in Champaign when a 23-year-old suspect, Marc Featherstone, allegedly failed to stop his 1998 Toyota at a stop sign on Healey Street. Featherstone was charged with aggravated DUI and failure to yield, according to Lieutenant Michael Paulus of the Champaign Police Department.

A bicyclist was injured when a car with ice and snow on the windshield struck him from behind early Sunday, December 21, 2008. Jonathon McGrew of the 600 block of West Church Street, Champaign, was taken to Carle Foundation Hospital following the accident at 3:50 a.m. Sunday, according to a Champaign police report.

According to the police report, McGrew was wearing a reflective vest and riding his bike north on Prospect Avenue near Harvard Street. A vehicle being driven by Anthony Antrim, 200 block of West Green Street, Champaign County, collided with McGrew while also headed north on Prospect.

The Illinois Worker's Compensation Commission issued new rates as both the state’s average weekly wage and the state’s minimum wage again increased. The new statewide average weekly wage effective for the period July 15, 2008 through January 14, 2009 is $912.56.

This means the maximum TTD rate is increased to $1,216.75. This makes the minimum rate for death benefits, permanent total disability benefits, and member amputation rate benefits equal to $456.28.

Further, the state’s minimum wage increased on July 1, 2008 from $7.50 an hour to $7.75 an
hour. Therefore, the Commission instituted new minimum temporary total disability and
permanent partial disability rates. These new minimums starting with accident
dates on July 1, 2008are as follows:

Single with no dependents $206.67;
Married, no child or single with 1 child, $237.67;
Married with 1 child or single with 2 children, $268.67;
Married with 2 children or single with 3 children, $299.67;
Married with 3 children or single with 4 children, $310.00 (maximum).
The maximum permanent partial disability rate also increased as of July 1, 2008, but this rate
will not go into effect until the rate is published sometime in December 2008.
